Renewed by a heartbeat while the step makes progress. A runner that goes quiet past it is ended, a receipt is kept, and the night moves on.
A rollback bundle before the first change
Before a step edits a file, the worker runs
git bundle create backup-<task_id>.bundle --alland records the bundle’s SHA-256.A check after every turn
